FALLBROOK – The second annual Dia de Los Muertos was organized by the Masonic Cemetery Assn. and held on Sunday Nov. 1. An estimated 850 people attended the event.
A two day celebration that usually takes place on Nov. 1 and 2, (aka all saints day and all souls day), Dia de Los Muertos is typically a Latin American custom that combines indigenous Aztec ritual with Catholicism, brought to the region by Spanish Conquistadores.
