Dog park now open five days each week

FALLBROOK – The Live Oak Dog Park announces it will now be open five days a week. Starting Thursday, Dec. 3, people can bring their dogs from 8 a.m. to sunset Thursdays through Mondays.

The off-leash area that opened in May this year is located at the corner of Reche and Gird roads across from the main entrance to Live Oak Park.

Live Oak Dog Park is the first off-leash dog area operated by the San Diego County Parks and Recreation Department.

Maintenance of the dog park is the financial responsibility of the Live Oak Dog Park committee, a group of individuals who pushed the project to fruition...
