FALLBROOK – Daughters of Norway Lodge Hulda Garborg #49 will learn about Norwegian cooking and also about the ancient Norwegian calendar at their meeting on Saturday, Jan 9. The program, starting at 11 a.m., will include an episode of Scandinavian New Cooking with Andreas Veistad and a short history of the primstav – a calendar stick that Norwegians once used to keep track of feast days and agricultural timelines.
