Big rig accident closes State Route 76 just east of Interstate 15

According to the California Highway Patrol, a big rig accident has resulted in the closure of State Route 76 just east of Interstate 15.

The incident occurred at approx. 9:30 a.m. today (Mon., Jan. 4) when the driver of a tractor trailer lost control of the vehicle and the trailer overturned on it's side in the roadway. Authorities reported fuel has been leaking from the vehicle.

A Sig Alert was issued in regards to the fact that State Route 76 had to be shutdown at Horse Ranch Creek Road in order for emergency workers to bring the trailer upright.
