San Diego County median home price rises 8 percent in December

SAN DIEGO - The median price of a home in San Diego County rose by 8 percent in December, compared with the same month a year ago, while the number of homes sold went up by 10.7 percent, a real estate information service announced today.

According to CoreLogic, the median price of a San Diego County home was $475,000 last month, up from $440,000 in December 2014. A total of 3,661 homes were sold in the county, up from 3,308 during the same month the previous year.
