Assault sends two to hospital with stab wounds

Two men in their 20s were assaulted and sustained stab wounds on Friday night, March 4 when another male attacked them, one of the men said.

According to Sheriff's Deputy Zach Harris, the incident took place in the 400 block of North Main (just north of East Mission Rd.) in the middle of the street, just before 6 p.m. that evening.

"Several cars drove through the area, but no one stopped to help," said Harris.

Authorities weren't made aware of the incident until the two men sought help for their injuries at an urgent care office in town.
