Pala shooting victim identified

The 58-year-old man who was shot several times while sitting in a vehicle early Monday morning in the 11900 block of Ortega Rd. on the Pala Indian Reservation has been identified as Pala resident Bruce Molina, the San Diego County Sheriff's Department Homicide Detail reported Thursday.

The Medical Examiner's Office completed the autopsy related to this investigation and determined the cause of death was gunshot trauma and the manner was homicide.
