Rainy weather on April 7 postponed Fallbrook High School's first Valley League track and field meet to April 11 but the delay didn't bother the Fallbrook's girls as they opened league competition with a 115-15 victory at Orange Glen.
"They're actually doing very well," said Fallbrook coach Marco Arias. "The girls team is well-rounded."
Orange Glen senior Betsabe Reyes accounted for 10 of the Patriots' points with winning throws of 29'10" in the shot put and 102'7" in the discus. In five events, Orange Glen salvaged a third-place point.
