On Friday, April 24, in the Albertson's parking lot, our 8-year old van (software) decided that we were not its owners, but thieves.
Our ignition key set off the security system alarm intermittently for a good 45 minutes, and disabled the car until Sky Towing company arrived to help.
We got a few glares, but almost everyone else came over to see if they could help, share their security alarm horror stories, and offer rides. Several Albertsons employees, while on their breaks, came over to see if they could help.
The staff at Eric's Precision (Chief and Sean) stayed open well after closing to help and even gave us a ride home to Pala Mesa.
After 18 years here, we're moving back to Sacramento where our kids and grandkids still live. I will be sad to leave this beautiful region of hills and trees and great weather, and especially the warm, friendly people of Fallbrook - what a great place to live.
