Fleeing Bonsall man arrested when car runs out of gas after long chase

A Bonsall man who led law enforcement on a car chase from Long Beach to Fallbrook was arrested Sunday, June 26, after his vehicle ran out of gas at Camino Del Rey under I-15.

The pursuit was initiated in Long Beach after the driver of the 2016 Ford Van, Andrew J. Carr of Bonsall, approached an LA County Fire Chief and made verbal threats against his life. Long Beach Police Department pursued the vehicle after it sped off from the scene.
