Dogs on Deployment: serving those who serve us

Every day across the United States, military personnel are deployed or reassigned to other military bases around the world. In many of those cases, service members cannot take their beloved pets with them, nor can they find anyone to care for their pets until they return home months later. All too often, these service members have no other option than to turn their pets in to animal shelters, leaving their pets’ fate unknown.
