Blustery winds expected to continue overnight

SAN DIEGO COUNTY - Blustery, widespread northeast winds will persist today in San Diego County.

A National Weather Service wind advisory for the valleys and mountains is set to remain in effect until 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Winds of 15 to 25 miles per hour and gusts of up to 50 mph are expected in the valleys. The winds will be stronger in the mountains, 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 45 to 55 mph, according to the NWS.
