Marie E. McCasland

Marie E. McCasland, age 75, went to be with our Lord on March 17, 2017, after a long and courageous battle with kidney disease. Born on September 6, 1941 in Ray, Ariz., she was the daughter of the late Dolores B. and Jose D. Vera.

Her family later moved to Southern California where she graduated from Sacred Heart of Mary High School in Montebello, Calif., and then went on to complete junior accountant classes at Sawyer Business School. In 1963, she married Ronald A. Martinez and had three daughters; Ruth Mercurio (Frank), Becky Lopez (Troy), Rachel Branson (Kevin).
