Beaucoup bouquets of roses to Fallbrook women golfers

Eighty-eight ladies wearing exotic hats and golfing attire arrived at the Golf Club of California’s “Where the Turf Meets the Rough” at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, in preparation for a shotgun gallop guest day.

Cleverly divided into four flights with horse racing names, we were “Running for the Roses,” and what an amazing production it was. As a Fallbrook Niner myself, though now playing at Pala Mesa after our beloved old Gird Road course closed, I have to say this was the most impressive guest day I’ve ever attended.
