FALLBROOK – Quilt artist Terry Waldron will be the presenter at the meeting of the Fallbrook Quilt Guild, Oct. 5.
In her program entitled “The Art of Doing It All,” Waldron will present a trunk show of her work, exhibiting her earliest works to her latest creations.
Waldron finds her inspiration in everyday experiences and works her magic into quilts of eye-catching appeal.
Many of Waldron's works feature applique techniques, and she will explain the process and the inspiration during her talk. Waldron’s quilts can be seen in various settings around California, including the Camp Pendleton Hospital, Kaiser-Permanente Hospital in Irvine and at the California Teachers Association facility in Burlingame in San Mateo County.
The business meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. followed by the program and refreshments. The public is invited to attend the meeting with a $5 fee to cover program expenses. The event takes place at the Fallbrook Community Center, 341 Heald Lane, in Fallbrook. For further information about the guild, visit www.fallbrookquiltguild.com.
