Fallbrook couple starts Reaching the Hungry

FALLBROOK – The Sales family joined the Fallbrook community in September 2017. Carlos Sales, with the support of his wife Lisa, founded Reaching the Hungry, after years of working with international organizations.

"During a trip to Africa, I recognized that many organizations have a tendency to give a handout. And, in a sense, that's great. We should do what we can to help one another, but I wanted to approach it differently. These places did not need a hand-out. They needed a hand-up.
