CalRTA Ambassador program helps local teachers

FALLBROOK – For the past five years, members of Division 81, California Retired Teachers Association, have been visiting the local schools under the Ambassador program.

The purpose of the program is fourfold: first, to adopt a school and its staff; second, to be in contact with them at least twice a year, bringing treats and information about retirement; third, as an organization to protect their pensions and fourth, to urge them to apply for teacher grants that help enrich their curricula.
