Margaret Ragena Spence

Margaret Ragena Spence died about 4 p.m. Monday, April 30, 2018. She was the wife of Bob, mother to Jennifer, Robert and Christopher and many loving grandchildren.

Born in the original Mercy hospital in San Diego, Margaret graduated high school in Grossmont. She attended college at UCSD and later at SDSU. After receiving her masters in mathematics with a minor in psychology, she worked as a teacher in Fallbrook and went on to a career with the San Diego County Court, retiring in 2014.

Margaret enjoyed crocheting, traveling and going on many tours and field trips with her grandkids. She was active in the local community and attended many Fallbrook youth events during her time raising her children and remained so with her local grandchildren including Fallbrook 4-H, Fallbrook Youth Baseball, Pop Warner Football, Fallbrook High Baseball and Football, and Future Farmers of America. She was a lifetime member of the Fallbrook Ag Boosters.

In addition to Bob, daughter Jennifer and sons Robert and Christopher, she is survived by her grandchildren, Dustin, Bradley, William, Annabelle and Zachary.

A remembrance celebration will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 11, at Christ The King located at 1620 S. Stage Coach Lane in Fallbrook.
