FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Encore Club installed its new executive board for 2018-2019 at its June 12 meeting. The installation was done with a nautical theme using sailor hats and a rope to signify the joining together of the board.
President Sylvia Colton graciously accepted the presidency for another year. Kathy Bogle also accepted the office of treasurer for a second year. Ardis Duhachek will be serving as first vice president, and second vice president will be served jointly by Brooke Flynn and Judy Erickson. Bea Valverde and Bobby Bixby both will be co-third vice presidents.
Carol Johnson and Catherine Sousa found working together as recording secretaries a good fit, so they are continuing together next year. Terry Keyes is continuing as corresponding secretary, and Trudy Cunningham is continuing as parliamentarian.
Fallbrook Encore Club will meet again Tuesday, Sept. 4, although some activities will continue through the summer months. Guests are welcome at the regular meetings, which are held the first Tuesday of the month. Coffee and refreshments are served 9:30 a.m., and the meeting begins 10 a.m. at the United Methodist Church, 1833 Winterhaven Road in Fallbrook.
