New program to provide students with weekend food

BONSALL – A group of retired teachers and other volunteers are starting a weekend backpack program in the Bonsall Unified School District. For this program, they are seeking money and food items to be dropped off at collection boxes at Daniels Market, Casa Estrella, North County of Dance and Grocery Outlet Fallbrook. Lists of needed items are available at those locations.
