Sustainable landscapes workshop to be held Sept. 8

FALLBROOK – Mission Resource Conservation District, the county of San Diego and the San Diego County Water Authority will conduct a free residential workshop on sustainable landscapes Saturday, Sept. 8, 10:30 a.m. to noon, in the boardroom at the Fallbrook Public Utility District, 990 E. Mission Road.

The community is invited to attend this informational seminar in which Steven Sherman from the WaterSmart Makeover Series will discuss healthy soils, climate-appropriate plants, high-efficiency irrigation and using rainwater as a resource.
