Suspect who passed out after fight with deputies in Fallbrook dies

Sheriff’s Department officials said Aug. 22 that a 28-year-old man who appeared to suffer some type of medical emergency and passed out after fighting with deputies at the Circle K/Mobil gas station on Highway 76 Aug. 16, has died.

Marco Napoles Rosales of El Monte was pronounced brain-dead Aug. 21, five days after his violent encounter with law enforcement personnel, according to sheriff's officials. A ruling on his cause of death remains on hold pending an autopsy.
