Firefighters working a two-acre blaze in Rainbow

North County Fire Protection District and CalFire San Diego battled a two-acre vegetation fire in Rainbow on Wednesday, Sept. 19 and the forward rate of spread was stopped by firefighters relatively quickly. The fire started on the 8200 block of Rainbow Heights Road, according to Cal Fire.

There were no reports of structural threats.
