Call to artists issued for 'Remembering 9/11' competition

FALLBROOK – The fourth annual "Remembering 9/11" exhibition and competition invites artists "to create a patriotic themed work of art, honoring our military, veterans, first responders, our Country and remembering 9/11."

In keeping with the theme of the art competition, they have renamed the event "Honoring Our Heroes," and Fallbrook Propane Gas Company continues its sponsorship.

The exhibition will be held at The Gallery at Fallbrook Art Association, Aug. 21 through Sept. 20. The artwork will be judged by the community. The "People's Choice Award" is open for voting from Aug. 21 through Sept....
