Supervisors set Sept. 11 hearing for Rainbow agricultural easement acquisition

A Sept. 11 hearing will determine whether San Diego County acquires two agricultural easements including on a 143.41-acre property in Rainbow.

A 5-0 San Diego County Board of Supervisors vote, Aug. 7, set the hearing date. The potential Rainbow easement covers five parcels, and the easement would be purchased for $305,000.

The Rainbow parcels are owned by the Ralph and Samee Foster 2001 Revocable Trust. The land is northeast of Rainbow Road and Mt. Olympus Valley Road.
