Parkinson's Support Group to learn about COVID-19 vaccine

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Parkinson’s Support group will resume meeting virtually this month, Friday, Jan. 22, at 10 a.m. via Zoom, after a brief pause during the 2020 holiday season.

Guest speakers David Higgins, Ph.D., and Dr. David Miles will talk about “COVID-19 Vaccine – Warp Speed: What you need to know.”

Higgins is the coordinator of the University of California San Diego Parkinson’s Support Group Network. He earned his Ph.D. in molecular biology and genetics from the University of Rochester followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Cancer Institute. For 15 years, he worked...
