FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Gem and Mineral Society proudly presents their annual Fall Festival of Gems Sunday, Oct. 10, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the parking lot across from the Fallbrook Gem and Mineral Museum, 123 W. Alvarado St., and on Alvarado Street.
At this family friendly street fair, everyone can discover gems, minerals, fossils and other treasures. With free parking and admission, this exciting and illuminating festival is not to be missed.
Amazing vendors will feature rough stones to finished jewelry and everything in-between. Raffle tickets are available with thousands of dollars in prizes. A team of friendly volunteers, gemologists, and geologists will be on-site to answer any gem or mineral questions. The Gem and Mineral Museum, featuring local and international specimens, will also be open during the event.
The Fallbrook Gem and Mineral Society is a nonprofit organization that gives back to the community with museum tours, classes and events. The proceeds from the raffle will help fund the Gem and Mineral Museum, and the upcoming Outdoor Children's Discovery Zone.
The Fallbrook Gem and Mineral Society will follow all CDC and government guidelines.
