FALLBROOK – Charles E. Swisher VFW Post 1924 regrets to inform the community of Fallbrook that there will not be a Veterans Day Parade this year. The VFW will still host a Veterans Day Ceremony and free lunch at the Post located at 1175 Old Stage Road.
The public is welcomed to attend the ceremony that will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11, followed by a free lunch and activities. The Post Commander expressed sincere regret about not being able to host the Parade for the second straight year due to Pandemic reasons. Commander Ingraham said, “We are already working on planning the 2022 Parade.”
Ingraham went on to say, “It is important that each community recognizes all veterans on Veterans Day, for if it was not for those who chose to serve or have served our great country in the military, we would not have this great country.”
If anyone would like to help the VFW in its mission to serve, feel free to contact the Post at [email protected] or visit http://www.fallbrookvfw.org and click the “donate now” button.
