The volunteers with the nonprofit Fallbrook Blanket Project extend our thanks to local thrift stores for their generous donations of yarn; thank you St. Peter's Thrift Store, Angel Thrift Shop, Hidden Treasures Thrift Store and St.John's Thrift Shop. They have all contributed yarn to help us knit and crochet all sizes of blankets and items for those in need.
We also thank those who have housed our weekly gatherings to socialize as we make our creations. Thank you to the Fallbrook Library, the Fallbrook Village Association for our use of Village Square and, now, our present meeting place at Living Waters Church donated by Pastor Slater. The wonderful people involved with these agencies have made it possible for us to have a good supply of yarn and always a place for us to work together that we may give to others.
Another thank you goes to many different people for contributing yarn and also the colorful bags we use to donate our blankets. Thanks to the many ladies who join us at our free meetings and to those who knit and crochet at home for our project, each contributing her own talents. It truly takes a village, a Fallbrook Village.
