The solo driver was extricated and transported to Palomar Medical Center
A driver was transported via air ambulance to Palomar Medical Center after crashing their car on S. Mission early this morning, according to NCFPD PIO John Choi. "It was a rescue traffic collision with one patient trapped with life-threatening injuries in the 1700 block of S. Mission Rd. The southbound lane of S. Mission Rd. was closed for the extrication and tow operation," said Choi.
As of 5 am the roadway was open.
