Fallbrook Garden Club decorates pumpkins for the YANA program

FALLBROOK – Members of the Fallbrook Garden Club decorated 39 pumpkins with natural materials, including lots of succulents, for the YANA program on Oct. 27. The FGC Cactus/Succulent Study Group, co-chaired by Ellie Knight and Jeanne Meadow, has organized this workshop for over 10 years.

YANA (You are not Alone) is a San Diego County Sheriff's Department program where volunteers check on seniors and shut-ins throughout the county. The Sheriff's Senior Volunteer Patrol delivered the decorated pumpkins to the homebound seniors in Fallbrook and surrounding communities just in time for Halloween....
