Elderly woman hit by a vehicle exiting the Albertson's parking lot

North County Fire Protection District responded to a vehicle versus an elderly woman at the entrance of the Albertson’s parking lot around 8:11 pm Tuesday, May 24.

The south parking lot entrance was closed for a short time while firefighter paramedics checked the victim. She refused medical treatment.

The parking lot entrance was reopened.

California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
