Sheriff releases shooter description from earlier alleged shooting incident

This is a breaking news story.

Reports of an alleged shooting came in late afternoon on Tuesday, May 17, at I-15 and 76.

A Sheriff’s spokesman said the alleged shooter suspect is a black adult male in his 20’s, unknown clothing, driving a white unknown model Mercedes.

The spokesman said the alleged victim description is unknown and was in a black vehicle, unknown model.

Earlier reports stated “An anonymous woman just reported witnessing a shooting as she was getting off the freeway at the light on Highway 76 and I-15. She called 911.

She said it was “right in front of the mom and pop vegetable stand."

She said, "They were at the light by the north I-15 entrance. A white Mercedes SUV pulled up behind a black sedan, got out and fired multiple shots at the black sedan." The witness got so scared when she saw the gun, she said, that she ran the red light to get out of the line of fire.

Sheriffs investigated but found no bullet shell casings in the area, the spokesman said. Their investigation continues.

Drivers report shooting on 76 and I-15

An anonymous young woman just reported witnessing a shooting as she was getting off the freeway at the light on the 76 & I-15. She reportedly was on the phone with 911 as we posted this online.

She reported that it was "Right in front of the mom & pop vegetable stand." She said, "they were at the light by the N 15 entrance. A white Mercedes SUV pulled up behind a black sedan, got out and fired multiple shots at the black sedan." She said she got so scared when she saw the gun that she ran the red light to get out of the line of fire. She reported being terrified.

Fallbrook Lt. Aldo Hernandez said, "Looks like a witness called it in, but units are looking and they haven't found a suspect or a victim." He reported all parties are gone presently but they are still searching.
