Closures for Monday Memorial Day Weekend

All public San Diego County offices, family resource centers, libraries and animal shelters will be closed Monday, May 30 for the Memorial Day holiday, according to a County News Service spokeswoman.

There will be no mail delivery Monday. And according to the USPS website, “Although there will be no regular mail service, Priority Mail Express is delivered 365 days a year and will be delivered on May 30. Normal delivery and collection schedules will resume Tuesday, May 31.

All residential curbside trash pick up will have a one day delay. So say your trash is picked up Monday, for this Memorial week pick up it will be Tuesday. All commercial dumpster pick-ups will remain on regular schedule.

Law enforcement, emergency animal control response, and other essential services will continue through the holiday.

County parks, campgrounds and neighborhood day-use parks will remain open, except for the following locations:

Camping reservations can be made online at the County’s Online Camping Reservations web page, but the Department of Parks and Recreation’s reservation phone line will not be staffed during the holiday.

All County offices will resume normal business hours Tuesday, May 31.
