Injuries sustained in residential fires

Smoke is blowing into Bonsall and Fallbrook from two residential fires in Vista.

Just after 12:30pm multiple 911 calls came in of a fire at 196 W Terrace Dr, On arrival Vista deputies helped get an elderly man to safety who was near the fire and quickly helped him get checked by paramedics, Firefighters quickly began an offensive attack on the fire which affected 4 units, after a short time firefighters were able to get the fire under control, 1 person was treated on scene but it is unknown if they were transported, the Red Cross has been called in to help those displaced by the fire, Fire investigators are currently working the scene to find the cause of the fire, firefighters from Vista, Oceanside & San Marcos were on scene, there is no additional information at this time.

VISTA: just after 2:30 PM multiple reports came in of a large fire at

2362 CHERIMOYA Dr, firefighters, quickly arrived, and rescued four people from the property, one person was transported to a hospital for Burns sustained during the fire, the fire destroyed a mobile home and a RV. Firefighters from VISTA Oceanside in San Marcos were present the cause of the fire is unknown at this time and is under investigation 4 dogs 2 cats and a lizard. We're also displaced due to the fire 1 of the dogs sustained burns and was transported to a vet. There is no additional information at this time
