Another man found shot in DeLuz

There was a call for service in the DeLuz area this morning at 8:04 am. This is the third body found in Fallbrook this week, and the second one in DeLuz. A report from on scene was that a male, approximately 40 years old, apparently shot himself.

The vehicle was found on the side of the road right outside the Santa Margarita County Preserve in the 37300 block of DeLuz Rd.. North County Fire responded and verified that the man was deceased. First responders on scene stated to Private Investigator Anthony Campbell that the death appeared to be self-inflicted. The identity of the man is unknown at this time. The car is registered to a 66-year-old Fallbrook resident. More will be reported as information becomes available.
