Tips and tricks for easy organic waste recycling

SAN DIEGO COUNTY – With the summer season upon us, I Love A Clean San Diego (ILACSD) and the County of San Diego provide tips on recycling organic waste, including how to keep green bins odor and pest-free.

According to the county’s Department of Public Works, about 40% of the waste in landfills is organic waste, which includes food waste, food-soiled paper, and yard trimmings.
