Fallbrook CPG meeting attendees surveyed on automated license plate readers

The Fallbrook Community Planning Group did not take a vote in favor or against a proposal to install automated license plate readers and high-resolution traffic cameras in Fallbrook to address illegal and dangerous driving behaviors, but those who attended the Monday, July 15, meeting were able to fill out a survey indicating whether they favor or oppose such cameras.

“Some people think it’s an invasion of their privacy and others think it’s a very important law enforcement tool,” planning group chair Eileen Delaney said.
