North County Fire responds to the vehicle vs pedestrian call and uses their truck to protect the victim and first responders in the middle of S. Mission on Thursday, August 22.
The NCFPD ambulance takes the victim to a local hospital for treatment.
A man was hit by a van in the 1400 block of S. Mission tonight at 7:55 pm. It didn't appear he was using a pedestrian crosswalk. CHP was on the scene as well as North County Fire. Paramedics transported the man to a local hospital and the driver of the van was on the scene and being questioned by CHP.
