Kids say the Funniest Things

Jameson, left, and Seamus are brothers whose grandparents live in Fallbrook.

Quotes from brothers Jameson, 8, and Seamus, 6, over the years. Submitted by their mother Kathy Custer.

Mom: "My friend is gonna let us borrow 2 swings that look like tents that we can hang from the ceiling inside our house."

Seamus, age 3: "But when we grow up and we still want to swing, will it hold our weight?"

Mom: "I know this is hard to believe but when you grow up you're gonna want to move out to your own house."

(Sounding angry at his mother, as if she had just lied to him)...

Seamus: "But you are grown up. Why are you still in our house?!"

----------

Jameson, age 5: "I've always wanted a guinea pig or a hamster. And mom, buy him one of those spinny things to run on so he doesn't have the energy to break out of his cage."

----------

Seamus, age 3: "Mom, Jameson needs your help with a lego. He's building himself a girlfriend."
