McComas takes over Fallbrook High School girls volleyball program

Madison McComas is Fallbrook High School’s new girls head volleyball coach.

McComas, who replaces Chip Patterson, began her Fallbrook career with a four-game win Aug. 29 at Oceanside. The Warriors’ record improved to 5-1 with their runner-up performance at the Aug. 30-31 Sweetwater Tournament.

“So far it’s been really amazing. I have a great group of girls,” McComas said.

Fallbrook has varsity, junior varsity, and freshman teams this year. McComas noted that the entity is three levels but one program and that the players are united regardless of their team.
