One person was transported after a two-vehicle collision that occurred Monday evening on northbound Interstate 15 near Mission Road in Fallbrook, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash, reported at 8:40 p.m., involved a semi truck being rear-ended by a BMW sedan. It remains unclear whether the vehicles were blocking traffic at the time of the incident.
CHP units arrived at the scene around 8:45 p.m. and reported major front-end damage to the front of the BMW sedan. A tow truck was requested, and SandR Tow was dispatched to the location.
There are no reports yet on injuries.
