NCFPD made quick work of the fully engulfed sedan.
At about 7:30 pm tonight, Friday, Sept 20, a white sedan became fully engulfed in fire on the southbound I15 freeway just north of the Mission Rd offramp. The car was on the right hand shoulder but three lanes of the freeway were temporarily closed. NCFPD arrived and had the fire extinguished within a few minutes. No one was transported with injuries.
Reports to the CHP were that the car was traveling down the freeway with flames coming out from underneath....
