Worker of the Week tends bar at family's restaurant

Samuel Estrella tends bar for Estrella's Restaurant and Cantina, his family's business, where he's worked for the past two years. Estrella's Restaurant and Cantina is located at 129 E. Mission Road. Estrella was born and raised in Fallbrook and graduated from Fallbrook High School. His grandparents Imelda and Ramiro Estrella originally opened the restaurant in 2002 in Bonsall. The original location was closed as part of an eminent domain to expand Highway 76 on May 29, 2010. On Sept. 3, 2011, the family re-opened their doors in Fallbrook. Estrella loves spending time with his family when not working. His goal is to someday expand the business into Carlsbad.
