Nominate an exceptional veteran in our community

We are looking for our 2024 Veteran of the Year!

We owe deep gratitude to the courageous men and women who answered the call of duty and served our nation in the United States Armed Forces. Their dedication to protecting our freedoms is inspiring, and once they return home, many continue their legacy of service by making a positive impact in our communities.

To honor their ongoing contributions, I invite you to submit a nomination for the 2024 Veteran of the Year.

Nominees must reside in California’s 40th State Senate District, have served on active duty in the military, and were discharged under honorable conditions. If you know any veterans who have shown exceptional dedication to their community, I strongly encourage you to nominate them.

I look forward to hosting a “Veteran of the Year Reception” in November recognizing the outstanding honorees.
