Warriors' homecoming loss best grid result since season opener

Fallbrook High School's football players and coaches didn't want to lose the Warriors' homecoming game, but the 42-12 loss Oct. 18 against Rancho Bernardo was Fallbrook's closest margin of defeat since the Warriors' season opener.

The Warriors were outscored by a cumulative 285-26 margin during their previous six games with the opponent margin of victory ranging from 34 to 50 points. The 12 points Fallbrook scored Oct. 18 were also the most for the Warriors since their 29-20 home loss at Vista which began the season Aug. 22.
