BUSD approves one-year agreement for Rawhide Ranch internships

In the past, the Bonsall Unified School District has approved one-semester agreements with Rawhide Ranch for a veterinarian and animal science internship program for BUSD students in fourth through eighth grades. The Sept. 18 BUSD board meeting approved a two-semester agreement for the program.

The 5-0 vote approves an agreement which will cover 10 Friday sessions from Sept. 20 to Nov. 22 and 10 Friday sessions from Jan. 31 to April 11. Each session will have 24 students and the school district will pay $32 per student per session, which equates to $15,360 for the school year.
