Trump declares victory

Several news agencies are calling the election for Donald Trump as of 11pm Wednesday night.. The New York Times has predicted that Donald Trump will win the popular vote. The Senate majority has already been called for Republicans. Trump appears to have 267 electors of the 270 needed to win. Kamala Harris has 218 presently.

During a victory speech Wednesday night, Trump was vowing to reduce the debt and increase manufacturing and control the border again. He said he would implement a common core of common sense. Strengthen the military but not start any new wars and achieve a great future."

He told the audience at his election night party, "It's time to put the divisions of the past four years behind us," Trump said. "It's time to unite."

World leaders were congratulating him on his expected victory. "Congratulations on history's greatest comeback!" wrote Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on X. "Your historic return to the White House offers a new beginning for America and a powerful recommitment to the great alliance between Israel and America."

French President Emmanuel Macron posted on X: "Ready to work together as we were able to do during four years. With your convictions and mine. In respect and ambition. For more peace and prosperity."

AP reported that NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte said he looks forward to working with Trump "to advance peace through strength" as the former president closes in on the 270 electoral votes needed to win the White House.

"We face a growing number of challenges globally, from a more aggressive Russia, to terrorism, to strategic competition with China, as well the increasing alignment of China, Russia, North Korea and Iran," Rutte said.

During his campaign, Trump did 900 rallies, including multiple states in a day, to win the election. He did many interviews and utilized independent media, including podcasts like Joe Rogan.

Some journalists are crediting the support from black men and the Latino population for his victory who were looking at whether they were better off four years ago than today, economically. Others think the equity and diversity politics drove some Democrats and Independents away from the Democrat party and to the Trump camp. Trump has also been clear about his stance that biological boys should not be able to play in girls sports, or change in their locker rooms.

It has also been touted that Trump gained support by surrounding himself with brilliant people who also stumped out on the campaign trail for Trump.

JD Vance, a person relatively unknown, was chosen by Trump as his Vice Presidential candidate. Vance, an Ohio Senator, a veteran, and an author, is considered a "regular guy" being raised by his grandparents because his mother was an addict. He's shown brilliance in debate and in speaking on shows and in interviews.

While Harris surrounded herself with successful celebrities, Trump continued to surround himself with successful people like the richest and possibly one of the smartest men in the world, Elon Musk. Musk now launches 92% of all the rockets launched in the world, including China and Russian rockets. He is a champion of electric vehicles and free speech, buying Twitter. Musk has expressed an interest in helping Trump trim the budget by $2 trillion a year without cutting programs.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. a successful environmental attorney and founder of Children's Health Defense joined the Trump team and Trump has promised him a position so that he can help America become healthy again. Kennedy often speaks about how we have the best healthcare in the history of our country, yet we are the sickest we've ever been and our children are chronically sick. Kennedy was also a presidential nominee, but had to run under the Independent party after the Democrat Party wouldn't allow him onto their ticket.

Trump was joined by Tulsi Gabbard, a senator from Hawaii that was also a Democrat presidential candidate who felt she wasn't welcome in her party and didn't like the direction they were going.

Vivek Ramaswamy, a brilliant orator, was another presidential candidate on the Republican side who dropped out to join Trump. He has had success in the pharmaceutical field and with investments and has built a billion dollar empire. His family immigrated from India and he often uses his bully pulpit to talk about what a great country America is and how thankful he is to live and work here.

Trump thanked his family, his friends, and all his supporters. He said, "We will make America safe, strong and free again, and put the divisions of the past four years behind us. Success will bring us together. We will put America first, at least for a period of time. We will be bigger, bolder, and richer."
